Alan B Hannaford, 64, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 6th, 2021. He was born on March 24, 1956 to the late Vernon and Shirley (Ross) Hannaford.

Alan, an Army veteran, loved spending time on the lake jet skiing, and going concerts. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Alan is survived by his daughters Jenna Hannaford, Allison (Randy) Bax; grandchildren, Kira Mark, and Carter Bax; sister, Cheryl Poirier; nephew, Eric Poirier; niece, Katie (Fred) Jurecki. 

Alan was predeceased by his sister Sandra Hannaford.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, Midland.  Friends may visit with the family on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Holly National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family.

    Al stood up in my wedding in 1981. We were close friends but drifted apart due to life and careers. Loved the guy.
