Arnold Geyzer, 75, of Midland, passed away on Sept. 18, 2011. Arnold was born in Chicago, IL on September 15, 1936 to the late Fred and Dora (Freundlich) Geyzer. Arnold grew up in the Bronx, New York. He attended the Bronx High School of Science, graduated from the Cooper Union as a chemical engineer, and received his MBA from Golden Gate University. He served as a Lieutenant J. G. in the U.S. Navy until 1962. On February 19, 1962 he married Mabelrose Eckhardt and settled in Walnut Creek, CA, where his son David was born in 1964. Arnold started his career at Dow Chemical Company in 1962 and he worked there for 31 years, taking assignments in Italy and Australia. In 1976, he and his family came to Midland where he worked until he retired in 1993. Much beloved by the community, Arnold was a Bridge Life Master and an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Mablerose, and his sister, Gail Todd. Arnold was preceded in death by his son David.
