Arthur ?Ç£Art?Ç¥ Tucker, 77, of Midland died at home on Dec. 9, 2009. Art was born in Midland on Aug. 22, 1932 to the late Beulah Glynn and Arthur Tucker. Art grew up in Midland, graduating from Midland High and then going to Central Michigan University to earn his Bachelors Degree. Art retired from Dow Chemical where he worked as an accountant in the Michigan Division. While in high school Art was in the FFA which increased his love of all animals and the great outdoors. He also loved children, fishing, his cats and watching the deer. Art is survived by his sister, Phylis Anger of Midland; brother, James (LuAnn) Tucker of Dallas, TX; nieces and nephews, Harvey Anger, Michael (Lyndy) Anger, Cynthia (David) Oliver, Rick Eastman, Ron (Debbie) Eastman, Lori Moore, Keri (Steve) Soper, David (Julie) Tucker, Paul (Amy) Tucker, Craig (Jane) Feaster, Brian Feaster, Cathy (Craig) Bozma and Chris (Sharon) Feaster. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gwendolyn Feaster and Lois Randall A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Luce officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service. A private internment will follow. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider giving to the MidMichigan Home Care or to the American Humane Society.
