Beverly A. Foster, 73, went to be with Jesus, her husband, parents, sister and grandson Christopher, on July 19, 2010. Beverly was born on Nov. 19, 1936 in Foster City, MI to the late Helen B. (Doran) and Harold W. Johnson. Then on July 23, 1955 she married her sweetheart John Foster in Midland. He preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 2009. Beverly was an artist, and loved painting, crafts, sewing and quilt making. She spent years and years teaching Sunday School and children’s church. She often thanked God for her family and her grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Lori (Rev. Terry) Woirol of Wisconsin; sons, Larry Foster of Midland, Rick (Beth) Foster of Midland, Darryl (Sue) Foster of Midland; grandchildren, Josiah (Tammy), Jacob, Deanna, Ian, Courtney, Nicole, Mackenzie, Joel and Mitch; great grandchildren, Malana, Lauren, Tristen, Benjamin; sister, Barbara Ellsworth of Midland; brothers, Leroy (Catherine) Johnson of Midland and Calvin (Chris) Johnson of Cheboygan, MI. Beverly was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Johnson. A Funeral Service will be held on her and John’s 55th wedding anniversary, Friday, July 23 at 11:00 am, at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 819 Patterson Rd., with Rev. Luke Hansen and Rev. Terry Woirol officiating. The Family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, on Thursday, July 22, from 4 to 7 pm and at the Church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
