Beverly Laurine Philp, 79, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born August 23, 1939, in Essexville, Michigan, to the late Carl and Bertha (Burton) Philp.
Beverly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She liked to watch old westerns, listen to music (especially Elvis Presley), and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.
Beverly is survived by her 4 children: Robert (Karen) Ordiway of Vassar, Gerald Ordiway of Midland, Pamela (Jeff) Fant of Tenino, Washington, and Melissa Kile of Midland. She was a proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Jeanne (Jim) Ordiway of Pinconning, Sharon Monroe of Des Moines, Iowa, and her brother, Arthur Philp of Swartz Creek, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Philp, an infant grandson, Jonathan Michael Ordiway, and brother-in-law, Daniel Monroe.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 11:00 am at Resurrection Life Church, 1849 S. Poseyville Road; Midland, Michigan, with Pastor Jim Smith officiating. The family will greet family and friends from 10:00 am until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, people are asked to consider contributions for the benefit the family.
