Buddy Arthur Jenkins “Bud”, 79, of Williams Township went to our heavenly father early morning on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Toni & Trish House of Auburn, Michigan. He was born July 21, 1936 and raised in Williams Township. He is the son of the late George and Alta (Arthur) Jenkins. Bud Jenkins was employed at The Dow Chemical Company for 31 years. Along with the love of his wife and family, he enjoyed farming, supporting 4-H, and took pleasure in spending time with family at community events.He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Jenkins, three children; Brenda (Cleveland) Mills, Calvin (Betty) Jenkins, Ron (Teri) Jenkins, five grandchildren; Theresa, Keven, Nicole, Drew, Morgan, two great-grandchildren, Chase and Skyllie and one step great-grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings; Helen (Clair) Arnold, George (Betty) Jenkins and Kenneth Jenkins along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Tomlinson, brother-in-law Clarence Tomlinson, sister-in-law Eileen Jenkins, and three nephews. A Funeral Service will take place at the Midland Nazarene Church on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 4-7p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service.
