Only knew Chuck for a couple of years down in Carefree when we moved in next door. He and Pat introduce Karen and myself to Andy’s Drive in Restaurant for ice cream. He even bought. Bocce ball tournament, 8th street against the world. I have the skunk mascot because I was his assistant. Maybe he’ll help us win from upstairs now. It was great to have a fellow Michigander next door. He will be missed, that’s for sure. Prayers and condolence to Pat and the rest of the family. We lost a good man at Carefree, it won’t be the same without him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the Retherford family! Chuck was loved by both of us very much. He was very helpful during Larry’s illness in many ways, the list is too long to put here. We are honored to call him friend , so glad my dear friend Patricia Lundy (since 7th grade) got to spend 43 years with him! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
