CHARLES HERBERT SEEBERCharles Herbert Seeber, 72, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. He died at his home in Midland, Michigan. He was born on July 7, 1942 in Longview, Texas to Charles Herbert Seeber Sr. and Anna Beatrice (Ballow) Seeber.Charlie grew up in Longview, Texas. He graduated from North Dallas High School in Dallas, Texas in 1960. After high school he attended Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas, where he received a BBA in finance. He began work for Dow Chemical in the operational area of Information Services where he advanced in management and worked for over 32 years. His career with Dow took him from Texas to Michigan, then Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Belgium. He retired from his role as Global Information Services Operations Manager in 1997 at the age of 55.Coaching youth baseball and football was an important pursuit for about 30 years, highlighted by the opportunity to take a 14-15 year old baseball team from Midland to the Sr. Little League World Series in Florida. Since retirement, he enjoyed spending his time fly fishing, gardening, golfing, and spending time with his family. He also invested in researching his family genealogy and compiling historical information from his travels and discoveries for future generations. Charlie married Mary Kennedy in 1963 in Palestine, Texas. They had three children, and now have 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He married Ann Schultz Haskins in 1990. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, and son, James Scott Seeber, who died in 1964.Charlie is survived by his spouse Ann Seeber of Midland, Michigan; his children Sandra (Tim) Angus of Midland, Michigan, Mike Seeber of Granby, Colorado, and Eric (Jaime) Seeber of Orlando, Florida; Stepchildren Dave Haskins and Rob (Millie) Haskins, his sister, Charlsie Ann (Vernon) Cates of Dekalb, Texas; his grandchildren Tyler (Sarah)Angus , Josh (Brandie) Angus, Ryan (Amber) Angus, Sonja Seeber, Jacob Seeber, Mary Hannah Seeber, Nathan Seeber, & Samuel Seeber; Step Grandchildren Jeffrey Haskins, Alex Haskins, Carissa Haskins, Rom Haskins, Sharallayne Haskins and Troy Haskins and his great-grandchildren Samuel Angus, Ryan Angus, Jr., and Rosemary Angus.A private family graveside service will be held at Midland Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Compassionate International, 12290 Voyager Prky, Colorado Springs, CO 80921, 800-336-7676.On Line Condolences can be given at smithminer.com.
