Coralie Ann Draves, 88, of Midland Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2017 at The Carriage House, Bay City, MI. Coralie was the daughter of Edward and Norma (Seeburger) Stark, and was born on March 21, 1929 in Midland, MI. She married Roy Emery Draves on July 3, 1948 shortly after graduating from Midland High School. They settled in her childhood home along the banks of the Chippewa River. She worked for the Probate Court in the Midland County Courthouse for five years before starting a family. On April 28, 1951, she dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized, serving faithfully with the Midland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for the rest of her life. She was also known for a love of gardening, landscaping, canning, and sewing. Surviving Coralie are a daughter, Beth Ann (Brad) Koeplinger, and a son, Brian (Laurie) Draves, all of Midland, two grandchildren, Benjamin Koeplinger and Brent (Gina) Koeplinger also of Midland, and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Ethan Koeplinger of Midland. Coralie was preceeded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy Draves, and four siblings, Wilbur, Dale, Raymond, and Rodney Stark. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the dedicated staff of the Carriage House while both our parents were in residence. Visitation will take place Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2990 E. Wheeler Street, Midland, MI 48642, with a Memorial Service to follow at the same location at 3PM. Richard Thomas, an elder of South Midland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, will be officiating.
