Welcome to Smith Miner

Danielle Pickard, a beautiful young lady, was taken away from us too soon.  Danielle Elizabeth Pickard departed this earth on July 26, 2020 in Midland, Michigan.

On December 19, 1995 in Midland, MI, Danielle was born to Becky Fettig and Jim Pickard.  She was the youngest of Becky’s three girls.

Danielle loved to tattoo, cook, and bake.  She also loved to make people laugh. Danielle was a good-hearted young lady that was not afraid to tell people how it really was.  She was a sarcastic fun-loving girl with an amazing spirit. Her favorite saying was “amazeballs”.  Though Danielle went through many struggles in life, she always managed to come out on the other side with a smile.  She was looking forward to working at the Great Lakes Recovery Center in the spring of 2021. She attended school in Midland and Petoskey, MI.

She is survived by her son, Sebastian (Midland, MI); mother: Becky Fettig (Bay City); sisters: Angelia E. Needham (Midland) and Katrina S. Fettig (Traverse City, MI); aunts and uncles: Linda (Jeff) Dean (Grand Rapids, MI), Bud Fettig and Pat (Michelle) Fettig (Petoskey, MI), Kay (Mark) Long (Gaylord),  Mike Fettig and Melissa Fettig (Ann Arbor); father: Jim Pickard, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the GoFundMe account, https://gf.me/u/yjqrdy, to help with funeral expenses.
