Doraline M. Krotzer, 80, of Midland, passed away on June 4, 2017 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1937 in Midland, MI to the late John and Hazel (Emory) Smith. On August 5, 1955, she married Donald J. Krotzer, he preceeded her in death on August 23rd, 2015.
Doraline was a member of the Floyd Church of God. She was very devoted to her family. Her grandchildren and her children were the most important. She loved to bake, and took care of others before herself. Doraline had an extreme faith in God, and her church.
Doraline is survived by her daughters Sue (Mike) Strayer, and Judy (Brian) Holly, son Ken (Carolyn) Krotzer, grandchildren Jenny, Chris, Angie, Nick, Christina, Sheri, Brent, Kelly, and Kevin, and eleven great grandchildren, sister in-laws Ruth Krotzer, Ardith Smith, and Darlene Smith.
Doraline was predeceased by her brothers Russell, Merlin, Darwin, Dale, Melvin, and Maynard Smith, her sisters Pauline Johnston, Sadie Mercer, and Alice Strait.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday June 8th at 11am at Floyd Church of God with Pastor Andrew Scheller and Larry Moe officiating. Visitation will take place at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on June 7th from 4-7pm. Burial will take place at Lee Township Cemetery.
