Douglas Dale Hall, 83, of Midland passed away on June 25, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living.  He was born on February 2, 1938 to the late Lewis and Gladys (Brink) Hall.  He married Jan (Woller) they shared 44 years together.

 

Douglas served honorably in United States Army during the Korean War.  He worked for Standard Electric as a purchaser for 40 years retiring in 2003.  Douglas coached little league and women’s softball.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling gardening, cooking and grilling. 

 

Douglas is survived by his wife, Jan, children Kathy Slater, Brian (Susan) Hall, Brion Hall, Kristin (Todd) Manning, grandchildren, Zachery (Rachel), Joshua, Michael, Matthew, Kyle, Marissa, Amanda (Matt), Tyler, Caleb, Jacob and 4 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his special nephew Randy and Pam Curry and many other nieces and nephews.

 

Douglas was predeceased by his sister Barbara Curry, son-in-law Brian Slater and nephew Rick Curry.

 

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

    I worked with Doug at Standard Electric for 35 years and enjoyed the time being around him. We had many ups and downs but he was always a good man and mentor. May he rest in peace.
