Eileen Marie Jenkins, 75, of Williams Township, Bay County, passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 1, 2012. Eileen was born on June 26, 1936 in Midland County to the late Lanny and Ruth (Cassiday) Conklin. On Feb. 4, 1956 Eileen married her sweetheart Kenneth “Dick” Jenkins. Eileen was a school bus driver for over 18 years. She loved the 4H, livestock, farming, gardening, flowers and camping in the great outdoors, . Eileen also loved her dog Shelia and especially Sunday dinners with her family by her side. Eileen is survived by her loving husband Kenneth; sons, Steven, Melvin, Daniel (Melissa) all of Bay County; daughter-in-law Deb Jenkins; grandchildren Brian Jenkins, Brett Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Madison DeCatur, Hunter DeCatur, Melea DeCatur; brothers, Ray (Marcia) Conklin, Wayne (Linda) Conklin: sister-in-law Virginia; many nieces and nephews and special family friend Arnie Sweat. Eileen was predeceased by her sons Allen and George and her brother Dale. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 4 at Beaver Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Buchhorn officiating. The family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly on Thursday, May 3, from 4 til 7 pm and at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of the service.
