Fredrick “Rick” Frost, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 21, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center. He was born to the late Clarence and Irma (Katzanberger) Frost on July 28, 1945. He married Sheryl Buxton on July 3, 1971 and they shared 49 wonderful years together.


Rick was in the United States Army serving his country during the Viet Nam War. He worked for Trippensee Corporation for over 30 years. Rick loved hunting, fishing, cutting his grass, and spending time with his family and his lifetime companion, his dog Bailey.


Rick is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Ray) Frost, Kristin (Kevin) Brewer, grandchildren, Austyn (Clarissa) Frost, Bristol Frost and great grandson Austyn Frost, Jr. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Martha Frost. He was predeceased by his wife Sheryl, son, Fredrick Frost, JR. brothers, Don (Sue) Frost and Ron Frost.


Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the DAV.

    I just heard of Ricks passing and am so sorry for your loss. We at Bob’s got to know Rick over the last few years and always enjoyed his wit and stories. He will be missed by all of his friends and staff here at Bob’s.
