Glenda Gail (Stinnett) Newton, 52, of Midland went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Cartwright Hospice Center in Saginaw. She was born on March 22, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward G. and Ruth G. (Wilson) Stinnett. Glenda married Donald H. Newton.Glenda overcame many struggles in her life time which shaped her inspiring faith in Christ. Her unconditional love for Christ, family and friends was one of her many wonderful qualities. She was actively involved in Midland Evangelical Free Church, Midland Christian School, Mom-to-Mom support group and Community Bible Study. Glenda left to cherish her memory her husband of 16 years, Don Newton; children Adam, Connor, Bret, Elizabeth and Houston; her parents Glen and Gail Stinnett; seven sisters and one brother, other family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews plus an abundance of friends. A Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Midland Evangelical Free Church, 7221 N. Jefferson Road, Midland. Friends can visit with the family starting at noon until the time of service.
