Helen Harbron Snell, 94, of Midland died on April 28, 2013 at Kings Daughters Home. Helen was born on March 13, 1919 in Ortonville, MI to the late Clare and Rose (Holm) Wolfe. She was valedictorian of the 1936 class of the Goodrich High School. In 1937, she married Stanley Harbron, they raised two sons, he died in 1967. In 1973 she married Arthur Snell, he died in 2005. Helen retired from Emily Gibbs Childrens Store. Helen was active in the American Legion Auxiliary where she held several offices. Helen is survived by her son Donald (Linda); grandchildren, Marc Harbron, Jodi Harbron, Bart (Karen) Harbron all of Midland and Dale Harbron of Auburn, Cheryl (Jeff) Labelle and Lori (Greg) Savlon of Massachusetts and Todd Harbron of California; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Harbron; sister, Violet Schneider of Midland and her brother Robert Wolfe of Culleoka, TN. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by her son Edwin; grandchildren Todd and Robin; sister Rosalie Valesco and her brother Donald Wolfe. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the Midland Kings Daughters Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly , with Father Kevin Maksym officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1 from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Midland Memorial Gardens.
