Herman Edward Jeroue, 74, passed away at the Toni and Trish House on Thursday, March 21 after an extended illness. He was born to Edward and Frances (Henne) Jeroue in Detroit, January 5, 1939. The family moved to Midland in 1953, and Herman assisted his father after after graduation in 1957 from Midland High School at the families Western Auto Store. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he continued in retail sales. Herman is survived by two sons, Timothy (Mary Jo) Jeroue and Christopher (Liz) Jeroue; two grandchildren, Jake and Sara all of Midland; sister, Sarah Jane (Leonard) Servinski and their family. As he requested, cremation has taken place, and graveside services will be held later this spring in Bay Port, Michigan. Herman’s family very much appreciated the many kindnesses shown to him by the medical staff who treated him during his illness, especially those at the MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland, and the hospice caregivers at the Toni and Trish House.
