Inez Vonola (Schweigert) Marsh, 91, of Midland, died at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Inez was born on February 13, 1922 in Midland to the late Jacob C. and Vernie (Bass) Schweigert. Inez was married to Ernest Charles Marsh for 54 years before he predeceased her in 1999. Inez was an accomplished seamstress and will be missed by her grandchildren whom she loved very much. Inez is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann (Samuel Jr.) Hacker of Bay City, Linda (Victor) Buzard of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Rev. Samuel Hacker III of Flint, Rev. Jason (Jennifer) Hacker of Traverse City, Nicole Buzard of Orlando, FL, Stephanie (Andrew) Ledbetter of Richmond, VA; great grandchildren, Malachi Hacker, Lydia Hacker; sisters, Thelma (Kenneth) Pretzer of Hemlock, D. Carol Barnovitz of Hemlock; brothers V. Dean (Sue) Schweigert of Midland, Mike (Laura) Schweigert of Midland and many friends. Inez was predeceased by sisters her M. Ruth Lange, Lena Riggie, Norma Bidlack and her brother Jacob (Gene) Schweigert. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Holy Scripture Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul E. Schneider officiating. The family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, on Sunday, March 17 from 4 until 7 pm. and at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
