Uncle “Lonesome” Jack & Aunt Roe have always been very special people to me & all of my brothers & sisters growing up.
Steve, Gary, Rex, Mark, Kay Lynn & Eddie have always been a part of our lives growing up & after I went off to Medical School still remained in stories of family around the country.
My path took me another way than all my brothers & sisters with some regrets which are inevitable as we grow up & get older. I certainly wish I could have been a bigger part of my family & relatives in MI, but as we all know things don’t always work out as we’d like or dreamed they had.
I’m working as an Addictionologist now & am trying to develop a small 80 acre farm in Mascot, TN which takes up most of my time these days.
I visited with your mother & father the last couple of times I was in MI, with my mother who I’m finding harder to get up & see regularly. We had a good visit. That was while your father was still at home with your mother. I regret that I was not able to come up for the funeral.
My condolences go out to all of you & your children & know that your father (& grandfather to you grandchildren) was a good man that many of us will always have fond memories of as we do your mother & grandmother. I will always remember My Uncle Jack Runyon with fond memories & love.

Eternal rest grant unto you Uncle Jack. May you rest in peace. Amen.
So sorry I won’t be able to make it to the funeral. I will be sitting with my husband while he receives chemo at that time on that day. My condolences to the whole family especially Aunt Rosella. I loved how he ribbed my dad calling him “Maytag” because he was an agitator. How true! Many happy memories from a very good man.
