James D. Schneider, 54, of Sanford passed away on October 14, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 31, 1966 to Donald Card and Irene Lillian Noykos, raised by Mae (Sasse) Joseph and Thomas Schneider. 


James was a member of the SMWIA Local #7. He loved making things with his hands, fishing, quadding and spending time with his kids, attending meetings and being outdoors whenever he could. He was a man that would help anyone with anything and loved doing it, he had a laugh that would make anyone laugh right along with him.


James is survived by his children, Devon Schneider (Nate Gallatin), Amber Schneider, Brendan Schneider, as well as siblings Dotty (Mike) Jopchak, Bonnie (Kenneth) Harvey, Connie (Alexis) Iafrate. He is also survived by his mother, Mae Joseph, step-father, Dr. Glen Joseph, ex-wife, Leslie Schneider and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.


James was predeceased by his father Thomas D. Schneider, and brother James LeRoy Roberts. 


Cremation has taken place, memorial will be at Cornerstone of Life Church, 1250 E. Superior in Alma on October 24th at 2pm.
