(December 9, 1932 – March 16, 2010)

Jeanne Florence (Beson) Zondlak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to heaven on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the age of 77. Jeanne was born in Bay City, MI on December 9, 1932, the daughter of the late Henry and Aurora (LaLonde) Beson. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s, 4-H Leader and Christian Services at the Assumption B.V. M. for many years. She was also very involved in Polka dancing throughout the local community, as well as entertaining with a singing group “Virginia’s Friends” at a local nursing home. On May 29th, 1954, she married Edward I. Zondlak, he survives her, along with her seven children. Paul of Gladwin, Kenneth of Midland, Maureen (late Randy Drake) of Midland, Karen (Matthew) Saia of Sumner, Matthew (Deborah) of Byron Center, James (Mary) of Kenosha, WI, and Dale of Bay City. Fifteen grandchildren, Adam, Abigail, Benjamin, Serena, Danica, Yvonne, Kristine, Stephen, Britney, Ashley, Emily, Jacob, Evelyn, Jordan, Mikayla and five great grandchildren. Also surviving her are two brothers, Robert Beson of Freeland, Leo (Kathy) Beson of Fort Meyers, two sisters, Theresa (Russell) Rivet of Lansing, Alice (Mike) McDonnell of Illinois, and many, many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Assumption B.V.M. Church, on Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 am with the Father Rick Filary officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 19 from 3-7 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Those planning an expression sympathy may wish to consider giving to Asssumption B.V.M.
