Jeanne M. Boudot (Duso), 61, of Freeland, passed away on August 29, 2019 after a courageous 5-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born on March 4, 1958 to Frank and Gloria (Auer) Duso.

Jeanne graduated from Bay City Central High School and dove head first into the harness racing world and loved every minute of it. She was an avid harness racing enthusiast and breeder with a special love for the industry and all those involved. She loved Bulldogs and thus her farm name “Bulldog Acres” where she raised a wide assortment of animals.

Jeanne is survived by her 3 sons, Craig (Courtney) Boudot, Steven Boudot, Kevin Boudot, their father Leonard Boudot, grandchildren; Paxton Boudot, Kylie Giles and Peyton Wallaker. She is also survived by her sister, Diane (Michael) Patterson, her brother, Steven (Tamara Delaney) Duso, beloved niece, Kerri Slachta and her 2 special sons, Kollin and Dylan Slachta to whom Jeanne was like a second Mom, and a Very Special friends, Carl Putnam and Beth Dimmig.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her brother, Dennis Duso and his wife, Renie and baby sister, Jeannine.

A special Thank You to the staff at Edgewood Assisted Living, Don Lown, Don Killey and all the staff of The Care Team Hospice.

A “Celebration of Life” Pot Luck is being planned….

    There are just so many wonderful memories that come to mind. But your ready smile and your zest for life along with the boys an your menagerie of animals over the years tell what a kind and loving person your were. I’m sure your entrance over that bridge was a joyous event with family, friends and your beloved animals waiting for you.     I did not know Jeanne but her son Kevin grew up with my boys and if I ever would have had the pleasure to meet her I would have told her what a wonderful son she raised, he is kind and caring and a wonderful man and wonderful friend–Good job Jeanne! and may you rest in peace.
