Jerry M. Eisman, 64, of Midland, died on August 5, 2011 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Jerry was born on Aug. 13, 1946, in New Albany, IN to the late Sheldon and Marie (Clevland) Eisman. On June 27, 1970 Jerry married his sweetheart Kathleen Ott in Flint, MI. Jerry loved the Lord an showed that love to his family. He was also a Principal at St Paul Lutheran School where the love of Jesus was on display every day serving others with humility. Jerry loved to run and completed multiple marathons while also competing in the senior Olympics and playing softball. He also loved driving to different parts of the country to visit his children and grandchildren. Jerry displayed a quiet strength in the good times and bad, providing a Godly example to all who came in contact with him. This Characteristic can only be described as being the rock of the family and even in death he provides those who love him the strength of the Lord. 2 Timothy 4:7 says “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; daughter, Angela (Neil) Webb of Big Rapids; sons, Jeff (Angie) of Boone, NC, Jason (Nicole) of Phoenix, AZ, Ben of Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Grace, Cora, Olivia, Ashley, Noah, Isaiah, Jacob, Zachary; brothers, Carl (Lynne) of Milwaukee, WI and Rick (Shirley) of Jeffersonville, IN. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August, 9 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bay City with, Pastor Paul D. Theiss officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, Midland on Monday, Aug. 8 from 3 to 7 pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
