Joseph “Joe” Seeburger, 55, of Sanford, passed away at his home unexpectedly due to sudden illness, on Oct. 17, 2011. Joe was born in French Morocco on April 5, 1956 to Mary (Peterson) and the late Gordon Seeburger. He married his sweetheart, Patricia Wasser on Oct. 20, 1979 in Midland. Joe served honorably in the United States Air Force and retired from Dow Corning in 2009 after 35 years of service. He loved camping, hunting and boating. Joe was an avid outdoorsman. Joe was also a diehard Spartan fan. Joe is survived by his wife Patricia; mother, Mary; sister, Carol (Scott) Wallace; brothers, Ned, Jeff (Peggy); in-laws, Jeanett (Mike) Peter, Connie (Bob) Curtis, Melodie Wasser, Jim (Linda) Wasser, Bruce (Irene) Rogers; god daughters, Kelly, Jaime and Skylar Kleinschmidt; and many nieces, nephews, friends and his faithful dog Raider. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly. Military Rites will be held under the auspices of the United States Air Force and the Midland County Veterans.
