June Karen Sprague, 84, passed away on Nov. 1, 2014 at her home. June was born on June 9, 1930 in Highland Park, MI to the late George Ejner and Ellen Rose (Hook) Jensen. June married William Wesley Sprague, her beloved husband, who passed away on September 21, 2005.June worked in assembly at General Motors for 15 years. She attended the Floyd Church of God. Since Moms move to Midland almost 5 years ago, she lived her life to the fullest. She traveled, camped weekly, enjoyed music concerts, played bingo, and never met a fellow that didn’t become her “boyfriend”. June frequently was the hostess to weekend guests. She had a smile for everyone, loved her pets and enjoyed her home. June is survived by her daughter; Kristine (George) Carr, sons; Kirk E. Zurbrick, Stephen M. (Teddy) Zurbrick and Michael J. Zurbrick, grandchildren; Korey and Kasey Kennedy and Matt and Jason Zurbrick. She is also survived by one brother James Jensen and many nieces and nephews.June was preceded in death by her sister Rosemary Jensen and special friend Robert Tracy.A funeral service will take place at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 6:30 PM with Pastor Andy Scheller officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, from 4pm until the time of service.
