Lillian O. Richardson, 89, of Midland, died at MidMichigan Medical Center on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012. Lillian was born on May 15, 1923 in Pleasant Valley, to the late Claude and Tracy (Schultheiss) Oswald. On Nov. 9, 1945 Lillian married her sweetheart Everett “Bud” Richardson in Pleasant Valley. Lillian was a member of First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She loved traveling all over the United States sometimes looking for waterfalls. Lillian is survived by her loving husband Bud; sons, John (JoLynn) of Margate, FL, James of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Kathleen Richardson of Haslett, Janice (Robert) Guzall of Haslett, Marylee Scherdt of Ann Arbor; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Joann (Harvey) Farrand of Saginaw and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her sister Marcelle Crumbaugh; and brothers Romaine and Max. A PRIVATE Funeral Service will be on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 with Reverend Dr. Charles Keyworth officiating. The family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 5 until 7 pm. A private burial will follow at Old Edenville Cemetery.
