The Family of Karol and Rudy Moliterno sends our deepest condolences to Lois’ family. Lois had a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. She was a one of a kind woman. Our grandmother, Karol, used to walk with us over to Lois and Ray’s house to visit and we were always welcomed with a loving hug and a kiss. She always had treats and toys for us to play with. Lois was always there for our grandmother, always interested in how the kids and grandkids were doing, she was there for her through the loss of our Grandpa Rudy and through Grandma’s struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was always willing to help. Lois was a true and loving friend and neighbor to our grandma and our family. Our grandma enjoyed telling us about their game nights and how Lois was always the life of the party, and about their many adventures rummage sale-ing. Lois’ faith in God and the way she walked through life with such joy and optimism were what made her such an admirable woman to those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.

Lois was a great friend of mine. I first knew her years ago when we attended the same church but her sister was closer to me in age. My oldest brother was one of several that kidnapped her from her wedding reception and gave her a ride in what I believed was a wheelbarrow down a street very close to Main Street in downtown Midland.. The groom didn’t think it was too funny but things like that were quite common during that period of time. In the past 6 years or so she has been a part of what we call the fabulous 5 which recently changed to Fabulous 5 + 1 as we added another member to our group. We have had SO MUCH fun playing cards and having lunch together and many times in her home. WE WILL MISS HER SO MUCH!!!

My deepest condolences to the family. Lois was such a joy to be around and had such a beautiful voice in which she sang during our Bible study from time to time. I lived down the street from her on Lemke St while I lived in Michigan. When I was moving, she brought everyone she could think of to my moving sale. She will be truly missed as my friend.
