Lola Ruth Wyman Dopp, 80, of Sanford, died on Aug. 15, 2009. She was born Aug. 9, 1929 in Midland. Her first husband, Kenneth L. Wyman died in 1994. She married Harold Dopp in 2000. Lola worked as a clerk for the Thompson Mercantile Company on Midland?ÇÖs Main Street. She was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church and the ladies Circle of Love. Lola loved dancing and other activities at the Senior Center, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and church functions. She is survived by her husband, Harold, sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Dawn Wyman of Big Rapids, Brad and Eve Wyman of Marquette; daughter Lori J. Wyman of Syracuse, New York; grandchildren Shawna (Thomas) Hanna, Christopher Wyman, Jennifer Wyman and Benjamin Wyman; step-son Lloyd Dopp; step-daughter Kay Baker; step-grandchildren Tim Dopp, Brent Dopp, Trey, Kendra (Jim) and sister Wava Jean Talbot. She was preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Bob and Jim Babcock and her sister Clara Keeley. The family celebrated Lola?ÇÖs 80th birthday on Saturday, August 8 in Big Rapids. A Funeral Service will be held at the Homer United Methodist Church on Tuesday Aug. 18 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Mulder officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday Aug. 17 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home from 4 to 7 pm and at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
