LuAnn Lynn (Cobb) Jones LuAnn Lynn (Cobb) Jones was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2015, while at home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 18, 1954 in Midland, Michigan to Leonard and JoAnn Cobb. LuAnn married Randy Jones on June 29, 1974 in Midland. LuAnn graduated from Dow High School in 1973 and began working at Chemical Bank. In 1994, she graduated from Delta College as a Dental Hygienist and worked for Dr. James Bakeman and Dr. Ed Hanna. After their retirement, she worked for Dr. Carlos Uribe, Dr. William Boss and Dr. Kirstin Rovick. She loved her patients and doctors.LuAnn began serving the Lord as a Sunday school teacher at the age of 17 with her father-in-law. For 30 years, she served in many areas throughout East Ashman Church of God until moving to Midland Evangelical Free Church (MEFC) in 2001. LuAnn and Randy did everything together and have been involved with Via De Cristo for 25 years and Alpha for 10 years through Trinity Lutheran and MEFC. She also served as a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) leader for many years. She loved the Lord above all else and then her loving husband and their family. She tried to serve the Lord in every area of her life. Her legacy is found in her sons and the wives they chose who are serving the Lord today.LuAnn is survived by her loving husband, Randy; their son, Travis (Tara) Jones, with the blessing of grandchildren, Nala, Malachi, Levi and Kaemon; and their son, Matthew (Melissa) Jones, with the blessing of a granddog, Roy, all living in Midland. She also leaves her mother, JoAnn Cobb; sister, Brenda (Steve) Clothier; brother, Leonard Cobb, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Barb (Jack) Weber, Sue (Dick) Tobey; brother-in-law, John (Stacy) Jones; and many nieces and nephews.LuAnn is predeceased by her father, Leonard Cobb, and her father- and mother-in-law, John and Ruth Jones.Funeral services for LuAnn will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Midland Evangelical Free Church, 7221 N. Jefferson Rd., Midland, Michigan 48642. Pastor Rod Lyon will officiate, with a graveside committal service to follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. LuAnn?ÇÖs family will receive friends at New Life Vineyard Church, 1014 East Ashman, St., Midland, Michigan 48642 on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends at Midland Evangelical Free Church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.
