Miles J. “Bud” Cook, 86, of Midland, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on October 28, 2013 at Kindy Care Center Freeland. Bud was born on April 23, 1927, to Fred H. and Harriett Cook. Bud was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf as often as he could. When he wasn’t playing he was watching golf on TV. Many years ago he went to the Buick Open and got to see Tiger Woods play…that was a very special day for him! Bud’s favorite thing was to spend time with his family. He had many obstacles in his 86 years of life … and he never gave up…always a positive attitude…always making everyone smile and laugh. He will be greatly missed by his loving daughter and family. Bud is survived by his daughter Shana Cook, grandchildren; Lindsay (Ira) Watson, Katelyn Moore, and Logan Miles Rayce, great grandchildren; Gianna Watson and Carson Marble. Bud is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend Marion Cook. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the First United Methodist Church, 315 W. Larkin,(on Main St.) Midland, MI. Social time at 10:30 am with the service at 11:00 am. The Reverend Lisa McIlvenna officiating.
