Nancy Holyszko, 85, of Midland passed away at home surrounded by family on April 21, 2021. She was born on December 7, 1935 to the late Edward and Violet (Guntzviller) Hewitt. She married Victor (Vic) Holyszko and they were blessed with 42 years together before he predeceased her on March 30, 2020.


Nancy worked for 15 years in GM Corporate in the clerical department. She enjoyed traveling through all 50 states with Vic in their RV, visiting the casinos in Las Vegas, and cooking many treasured family recipes. She also enjoyed time with family and friends, and many adventures with Pat and Jerry Knieper.


Nancy is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Heidi Kinnun; grandchildren, Chris Kinnun, Sean Kinnun and Lilly Story, daughter, Deb Schoenherr, her grandchildren; Ian McLaurin and Curtis Schoenherr, son, Paul Holyszko and his wife Connie; grandchildren, Jason, Justin and seven great grandchildren, son, John Holyszko and granddaughters, Manda and Morgan, and son, Kevin Holyszko; grandchildren, Jared and Ruby. She is also survived by her brother Rick Hewitt.


Nancy was predeceased by her first husband, Ray Kinnun (1976), her sister, Sharron Zalewski and daughter in law, Jerylyn Holyszko.


Nancy will be laid to rest on Friday, April 23, 2021 in a private family ceremony. Family wishes no flowers or plants; memorials may go to Midland Humane Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
