Norma “Gayle” King, 82, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully at her home November 7, 2019. She was born on January 4, 1937 to the late William and Delores (Connerly) Tinchere. On August 31, 1972 she married Robert King and they had 48 wonderful years together.
Gayle was energetic and loved by all who knew her. She loved camping, fishing, cooking and most of all her family.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert King, daughters Marla Calvert, Cher Patrick, Brenda Blizzard, Mary (Chuck) Priest, Paula Berbaum, Marilyn (Rob) Dodson, and son Robert (Tonja) Fox. Grandchildren Adam Calvert, Meghan Moore, Teysha Lemanski, Lynsee Kessler, Andy Skaggs, Amanda Rudick, Amy Moore, Jennifer Hill, Jessica Toronjo, Nic Shangle, Gabe Shangle, and Jamie Collins as well as 20 great grandchildren.
Gayle is preceded in death by her beloved children Edward and Maureen Huber and grandchildren Janel and Jolene Huber and Tara Marie.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Tippin officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 4-7 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service.
