Rozannah McRoberts, 88, of Midland, died at her home on May 4, 2010. Rozannah was born on Feb. 22, 1922 in Lansing to the late Hiram D. and Blanche (King) Holey. Then on June 8, 1938, in Bryan, OH she married her sweetheart Clarence Leo McRoberts, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1983. Rozannah worked at the Jefferson Intermediate Cafeteria retiring in 2001. She loved crocheting, working outside, mowing the lawn, music and singing. Rozannah is survived by her children, Myrtle (Larry) Kennedy of Midland, Richard (Deanna) McRoberts of Midland, Bill McRoberts of Midland, Don (Karen) McRoberts of Novi, Shelia Hutek of Clearwater, FL., David (Linda) McRoberts of Midland, Jane (Dennis) Crawford of Midland, Carol (John) Cottenham of Gladwin, Jerry (Angela) McRoberts of Midland, Jim (Desiree) McRoberts of China, Ellen Miller of Midland; 22 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Rozannah was predeceased by her son Clarence McRoberts Jr., 4 sisters and 4 brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday May 7, 2010 at the Community Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Terry Turner officiating. The family will receive friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, on Thursday, May 6, from 4 til 7 pm and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.On-line memorials are available at smithminer.com.
