RUTH HANNAH Ruth Hannah, 84, of Midland, died on November 7, 2013 at Mid Michigan Medical Center. Ruth was born on February 3, 1929, in Flint to Robert and Lily (Bell) Brownlee. Loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, overall great woman entered heaven today to bake cookies and tend her beautiful gardens, she was an example of character and caring who will be missed by her children. Ruth was also a member of the American Business Women Association and was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church. Ruth is survived by her daughters; Christine (Phil) Leigeb, Diane Hannah, son Jay (Michele) Hannah, grandchildren; Jeremy (Tracey) Finney, Brian (Tonya) Leigeb, James (Sarah Petersen)Hannah, and Sarah Hannah, great grandchildren; Brennan, Jake, Avery, Elyse, Logan and Dominick. Ruth is also survived by her sister Edith Campbell, brother, Robert (Janet) Brownlee Sr. and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her sister Marjorie Bartlett. A funeral service will be held at Hope United Methodist Church on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Patrick Ryan Hoag officiating. Visitation will be held at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 4-7 pm and on Monday, at 10 am at Hope United Methodist until the time of service. Burial will take place at New Edenville Cemetery.
