Sally J. Scramlin, 57, of Midland, died peacefully at home on Sept. 14, 2011. Sally was born in Midland on Sept. 12, 1954 to the late Lewis and Patricia (Pomranky) Lenz. Sally worked for Soaring Eagle Casino as a Black Jack dealer for the last 13 years. She loved to fish and hunt, playing pool, gardening and stained glass work. Sally also loved to cook. Sally is survived by her sons, Travis (Carrie) Albertson of Bridgeport, Cody Scramlin of Sanford, granddaughter, Caleigh Albertson, sisters, Rebecca Brenzie, Carlita Markell, Lorraine Lambert, Kitty Nelson, Chris Lenz; brother, James Lambert and her companion of many years Jay Ramirez. Sally is predeceased by her daughter Amanda and son Arron. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, with Reverend Randy Saylor of Living Word Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
