Welcome to Smith Miner

(July 8, 1925 – April 21, 2015)

Our matriarch and friend to so many Theresa Ann Robison went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2015, at the age of 89. Born Theresa Ann Jerry July 8, 1925 to parents Rudolph and Louisa Jerry. Her life was a profound reminder of how love unites and makes the world a better place. A woman ahead of her time she had a passion for history and politics and enjoyed a spirited conversation that imparted knowledge and understanding of present-day issues. Her approach to ?Ç£Freedom of Speech?Ç¥ was patriotic and refreshing to believe we all had a voice and that we could be heard. She and her husband Robert were the owners of Robison?ÇÖs Fine Jewelry for 50+ years and active participants in the community. She most enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends and imparted courage and strength in adversity, class and kindness in all aspects of her life and a love that transcended life. Besides being a loving mother and grandmother she was a mentor, confidante and loyal friend. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert J. Robison. Surviving are her children Blake T. Robison, Tad M. Robison and finance Pam Oldham, Ann M. Robison-King (Tim King) all of Midland and Patrice A. Alexander of Novi; six grandchildren Shannon Pnacek (Jeremy), Jessica Robison, Bret Robison (Theresa) Grant Alexander (Novi), Theresa Ann Van Putten (Mesa AZ) and Chase Robison; great-grandchildren Aubrina Robison, Peyton Robison, Brady Pnacek and Ellie Pnacek. We would also like to make a special mention to Dr. Kahn, his staff and the wonderful staff at Brittany Manor that became family. Thank you for touching our lives and loving care. We will be forever grateful. In honor of my mother and her life she would ask that you demonstrate love and kindness in all aspects of your life. She believed that the ?Ç£ultimate wisdom was kindness.?Ç¥A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude?ÇÖs Hospital or Midland Humane Society.Online condolences can be given at smithminer.com
