William K. “Bill” WilliamsWilliam K. “Bill” Williams, 90, died on December 19, 2015 at his home. Bill was born October 29, 1925, in Midland, Michigan to the late William H. and Maye K. (Knapp) Williams. On January 31, 1950 he married Margaret Warren. Bill graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Forestry. During WWII Bill served his country honorably in the United States Army. He worked for Dow Chemical Company as a construction engineer and went on to work for and retire from Brown Lumber. Bill was part of the Wixom Lake Birches Association. He had a special love of his life at the cottage. Bill was soft spoken, had a great sense of humor and was always generous to everyone he knew.Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret, daughters, Kathryn (William) Wright, Carol (Dirk) Presidio and Kelly Hall and grandchildren, Kara Wright, Kyle (Alicia) Wright, Billy Presidio (Lindsay Ligon), Travis Hall and Emily (Mark) Wilson. He is also survived by his sister Marge Towsley.Bill was predeceased by his identical twin brother Bud Williams.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will be held at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on January 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm.
