Jeanne Terwillegar passed away on January 4, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 22, 1927 to the late Roger Pothier and Katherine (Burch) Lauer. On December 23, 1946 she married Raymond Terwillegar and they had 71 wonderful years together.
Jeanne was involved in TOPS, the Bishop Home Extension and was in the Michigan Farmers Hall of Fame. She enjoyed travel, shopping, birds especially owls, polka dancing, card playing, reading and gardening.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Raymond, children; Linda (Bob) Precoda, Ken (Kathy) Terwillegar, Nancy (Rick) Weage, Don (Gaye) Terwillegar, Kevin (Marcia) Terwillegar, Barb (Randy) Swierzbin, Jim (Kelly) Terwillegar, Jack (Nancy) Terwillegar, Dave (Carmen) Terwillegar, 31 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Jeanne was predeceased by her grandson Marcus Terwillegar.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with Chaplain Chuck Hendrix of MidMichigan Hospice officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4-7 pm and on Monday from 10 am until the time of service.
